Project Description

The mahogany rocker had a worn and soiled show cover and had an uneven seating surface.

Upholstery materials were removed to gain access to the seat, which had worn considerably, ripping the spring cover and several sprint ties, resulting in a very uneven seat. The seat was rewebbed and resprung with 8-way spring ties. The upholstery cakes of cotton batting and one piece of webbing in the back were saved and reused. The chair was reupholstered with a tapestry style fabric and blue trim.
