Structural Conservation
The first step in examining an object is assessing its structural integrity, with emphasis on preserving the original materials. Often the wood chosen for repairs is critical to maintain the integrity of an antique. We maintain a large supply of period and modern exotic hardwoods and veneers, and have access to international suppliers of saw cut veneers to insure a proper match in both grain, color, and figure.
