  • basic materials analysis (we also work together with conservation scientist for in-depth materials analysis)
  • using UV and visible light microscopy with our Nikon 80i fluorescence and polarized light microscope with Excelis MPX-20RC CMOS camera and Captavision Plus software
• wood identification
  • microscopically (with a dedicated Amscope T670Q-PL microscope with 10MP camera)
  • macroscopically with 10x loupe or by eye
• solubility testing
